Scaffolding and Shoring Services in Metro Vancouver
Seven service lines, one contract and one crew. Most of our sites take more than one of them, which is why they are priced and scheduled together rather than handed between subcontractors.

Scaffolding Installation
Install, tag, modify and dismantle, all on one contract.

Shrink Wrap
A working envelope over the scaffold so the wet season stops setting the schedule.

Scaffolding Hoist
Material to the working lift instead of up a ladder or onto crane time.

Garbage Chutes
Debris straight from the working floor to the bin, off the elevators.

Scaffolding Engineering
Layouts, load paths and tie schedules settled before the first frame lands.

Shoring Systems
Temporary support for slabs, beams and excavations, sized to the load.

Emergency Shoring
Short-notice support when a slab moves or an inspection flags a structure.
What A&K's scaffolding and shoring services cover
A&K installs and dismantles scaffolding for commercial, high-rise and occupied sites across Metro Vancouver, and supplies the shoring that holds slabs, beams and excavations while the work happens. Shrink wrap, material hoists, debris chutes and stamped engineering sit under the same contract. One crew books the whole package, and the estimate comes back in one to three business days.
Which service do I need?
What contractors ask when a site needs more than one thing at once.
Can I book more than one of these on the same site?
Yes, and that is the usual case. Most jobs pair the scaffold with at least one of shrink wrap, a hoist or a chute, and any shoring goes in under the same contract. You get one estimate for the package, one crew mobilising and one schedule to hold, instead of three subcontractors working around each other.
Do you supply scaffolding without installing it?
No. We install and dismantle what we supply, so there is no drop-off-only option. That keeps the erection, the tags and every modification with the crew that is accountable for them under WorkSafeBC.
Which service covers a slab or beam that is already moving?
Emergency shoring. Send whatever the engineer or the inspector has written, plus photos, and the office will tell you what can go on site and how soon. Planned support for a pour or a renovation sequence is the shoring systems line instead.
Do you handle the engineering, or do I bring my own drawings?
Either way works. We produce stamped drawings in-house for non-standard loads and geometry, and we build to a consultant's design when one already exists. Tell us which at the estimate stage so the scope is priced once.
More than one of these on the same site?
Send drawings or a site address and we will price the whole package in one estimate, back in one to three business days.
