What shoring systems do
Shoring is temporary structural support that carries load a permanent structure cannot yet carry, or can no longer carry. On new construction that means slab formwork support and reshoring through the pour cycle. On existing buildings it means holding a slab, beam or wall while it is repaired, cut into or replaced. The layout follows the load path and the schedule, which is why it is designed rather than improvised.

Sequenced strip and reshore that keeps the young slab supported without stalling the cycle.
Strike
Shoring comes out on the schedule agreed at the start, and we take it away.

Do you design the shoring layout?
We work from the loads and the sequence and set the layout to suit. Where the job needs stamped drawings, that goes through engineering before anything is installed.
Can you shore and scaffold the same site?
Yes, and that is usually the cheaper way to run it — one contract, one crew, one point of responsibility for both.
How long can shoring stay in?
For as long as the structure needs it. Duration is agreed up front and written into the contract with the install.
