What emergency shoring means in practice
Emergency shoring is temporary structural support installed on short notice to hold a compromised structure until it can be repaired or removed. It follows fire or water damage, a failing slab or beam, an impact, or an order issued after an inspection. The work is directed by the engineer of record, and the shoring contractor's job is to get capable support under the load quickly and safely.

Working with your engineer
The engineer of record directs the support scheme. We build to it and flag anything the site does not match.
Install
Posts, frames and beams under the load, plus access if the repair crews need to reach the work.
Stay or strike
The shoring stays until the repair is signed off, then comes out on the engineer's word.

Do we need an engineer before you come?
For anything structural, the support scheme is the engineer of record's call. If you do not have one engaged yet, tell us on the phone — that is usually the first thing to sort out.
Is emergency work priced differently?
Short-notice work is quoted on what it actually takes to mobilise. You get the number before we start, not after.
