What scaffolding installation covers
Scaffolding installation is the supply, erection, tagging, ongoing modification and dismantle of temporary work platforms on a construction site. On a commercial job in BC that means an engineered or standard-configuration scaffold sized to the elevation and the loads, erected by a trained crew, tagged before handover, and modified as the trades move up the building.
What the job includes
Everything below runs under the same contract as the scaffolding installation.
Site walk and layout
We look at grade, access, overhead lines, the lane and the lobby, then set the footprint so the scaffold does not fight the other trades.
Erection and handover
The scaffold goes up in lifts, gets guardrails, toe boards and access ladders, and is tagged before anyone steps onto it.
Modifications during the job
Elevations change. Balcony drops, tie removals and extra landings get handled while the job runs, not renegotiated as a new contract.
Dismantle and clean-up
We strike the scaffold when the work is signed off and leave the site clear. What we supply, we take back down.

What contractors ask before booking scaffolding installation.
How long can the scaffold stay up?
As long as the job needs it. Standing time is written into the contract with the install, and modifications while the trades work are part of the same agreement.
Do you supply scaffold without installing it?
No. We install and dismantle what we supply, so there is no drop-off-only option. It keeps responsibility for the tag and the configuration in one place.
What do you need to quote?
Elevation drawings or a site plan, the trades that need access, roughly how long the scaffold has to stand, and any restriction on the sidewalk, lane or lobby.
