When a hoist beats crane time
A scaffold-mounted material hoist is a powered platform that runs up the face of the scaffold and lands material at the working lift. It pays for itself on jobs with many small load cycles a day — restoration, envelope and interior fit-out — where booking crane days for repeated lifts is slower and more expensive than a hoist that is already on site.

Can the hoist carry people?
That depends on the unit and the configuration. Tell us what you need it for and we will tell you what can be put on the site, subject to a site assessment.
Do you install a hoist on its own?
The hoist mounts to and is tied into the scaffold, so it comes with the access package rather than as a standalone drop-off.
How fast can it be on site?
It goes up with the scaffold. If the access is already standing, the schedule depends on the tie design and the unit — call the office and we will give you a real date.
